What is the difference between asphalt color-changing pavement and colored anti-skid pavement?

The decolorized asphalt is mixed with various colored stones, pigments and additives at a specific temperature, and then spread and rolled to form a colored asphalt pavement with certain strength and road performance.② Colored anti-skid pavement: No mechanical equipment is required during construction. The colored adhesive material is poured on the asphalt pavement or concrete pavement, and a scraper is used to scrape and smooth it. When it is not dry, the anti-skid particles are sprinkled and embedded in the adhesive. After cooling, the excess particles are swept away. The thickness is generally between 2-3 mm. (4)Application scenarios ① Asphalt color-changing pavement: Asphalt color-changing pavement is suitable for occasions where the pavement color needs to be changed but the anti-skid requirements are not high, such as urban roads, park sidewalks, community trails, etc.② Colored anti-skid pavement: widely used in places that require high anti-skid performance, such as entrances and exits of underground parking lots, crossroads, pedestrian walkways, overpasses, highways, tunnel entrances and exits, and bus stops. In summary, asphalt color-changing pavement and colored anti-skid pavement have significant differences in materials, construction methods, performance, and application scenarios. Colored anti-skid pavement is superior to asphalt color-changing pavement in anti-skid performance and service life, but the construction cost may be higher.
